The addition of a live string section expands the sound and emotional depth of Lightfoot’s timeless catalogue, elevating the concert experience to a new level. This special performance promises an evening of powerful storytelling, rich orchestration, and a heartfelt celebration of Gordon Lightfoot’s enduring legacy.
About the band
CLASSIC LIGHTFOOT LIVE is Canada’s premier tribute to the legendary folk-rock icon Gordon Lightfoot. Featuring an exceptional all-Canadian, multi-instrument band, the show is led by vocalist and guitarist John Stinson, alongside music director and multi-instrumentalist Bob Doidge (Lightfoot’s longtime record producer), bassist Steve Eyers (Lightfoot’s nephew), and lead guitarist Eric Kidd (trained by Red Shea himself).
